Structural Productions is the practice of Jason Massey, an Incorporated Structural Engineer with over 35 years of hands-on engineering experience. Throughout that journey — from public sector projects and international developments to major UK infrastructure schemes — one lesson remained constant: good engineering comes from diligence, attention to detail and getting things right first time.

Mentored by some of the best engineers in the industry, we learned early that good engineering practice is never negotiable. That's the standard we bring to every project, whether it's a house extension in Pontyclun or a multi-billion-dollar industrial facility.

How It Began

It was in early 1990 when a letter dropped through the door confirming I would be following a path inspired by my late Uncle Tony — a journey that would take me across the globe, building structural experience on some of the world's most complex projects, before bringing me back home to South Wales.

Design Technician with the Government's consultancy - PSA Projects. Building foundations in structural design, detailing and 3D modelling, guided and mentored by respected senior engineers

Finding My Path

Finding My Path

Petrochemical & Pharmaceutical facilities, from pump plinths to simple beam designs, enjoying the accuracy, logic and problem-solving that structural engineering demands. This was the career for me

2003

Defining Milestone

Defining Milestone

Achieved Incorporated Engineer status (IEng IMIStructE) through the Institution of Structural Engineers, providing professional recognition and opening the door to international engineering opportunities

2007

Caspian Region

Caspian Region

Structural Engineer working across Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan on major industrial and energy developments, gaining valuable experience in complex multidisciplinary projects

2003

Defining Milestone

Leading technical review and delivery on National Grid's £450m Isle of Grain LNG expansion, representing the client and overseeing structural design on a major UK infrastructure project
